I’ve been working on a book for the past two months. It’s entitled “The Ultimate Guide to Dropshipping,” and  it teaches you exactly what you need to know about starting and building a successful dropshipping business.

My co-author Andrew and I released an online version last week to great success. It hit the coveted #2 spot on Hacker News and remained there for a couple hours. That drove about 40,000 unique visitors to the book, and between 150 – 350 viewers at any given time.

Rising to the top of HN also drives social metrics – we got about 200 Tweets, 200 Facebook Likes, 42 LinkedIn shares, 55 comments, 300 HN votes, and (surprisingly) 75 Google +’s. But the real traffic will be long-tail organic search traffic… the best is yet to come.

Over the next couple weeks we’ll be fine-tuning the guide and releasing it as an ebook and eventually a print.
